Pretty much. You can argue some of these individual components may be lower if you buy the absolute cheapest-made stuff you can find, or have the time/patience to find deals on half decent stuff at rock-bottom prices, but this is also a tidy all-in-one, no-hassle package. Heck, D3P can charge at up to 1500W from AC - you'd be hard pressed to find a quality AC charger of that caliber for <$200. Custom setups have their advantages (e.g. being able to simply replace a failed component), but convenience/portability is not one of them.

Compared to other currently available AIO units with similar capacity/capabilities, these regularly rank at/among the top in real-world testing, so it's kind of funny to see people saying they 'sHoULd BE' priced like they're units with less capability & refinement.

Note that this seller (Wellbots) does not charge sales tax for purchasers from SOME states, so that could be another chunk of savings compared to buying from Amazon or eBay.

Depends what you want. The Plus is the overall 'newer/higher tech' unit with 2x USB-C 140W PD output, quieter fans, faster switchover time as a UPS, up to 1500W charging from AC, and 2x 500W solar input (vs 1 on the D3 Premium).

Premium is more like an updated D2 with a bigger battery (they also reined in the fan noise vs the D2).. but similar overall performance besides the Plus 'pros' stated above.

I keep waiting for this to dip below $500, and I'm sure it will sooner or later... but I might just go ahead and pull the trigger to upgrade my Delta 2 (obnoxious fan noise makes me not want to use it much).

The Delta 3 Plus is a WAY quieter unit and much more suitable to using in an occupied living space.

Wellbots is an authorized partner too, so you shouldn't have to worry about Ecoflow not honoring warranty like you would if you'd bought from an 'unauthorized' seller on ebay or elsewhere.

Now we're talking
Soon this will be $499 where it really belongs

LFP prices are in free-fall, it's getting more and more difficult for EcoFlow to justify the price

It absolutely should be $499 at this point

We're almost there, where it belongs

The best thing that can be done, is not buy it now. It will drop further and fairly quickly. Of course if there was an amex $100 credit that could stack with this like there was with the Bluetti AC180P, then I'd say snag one

In for 1, first one. Know the delta 2 is available for a bit less but want the newer tech and ability to use delta 3 batteries or delta 2 and the 2 charging ports. Will be using this for short term backups of some key circuits (sewage ejector) until generator may need to come out. My state didn't seem to have taxes so there is that too. I agree these all should be cheaper but want to put it to use now.

Good reply. I ordered the Costco but would not have if I realized it's just a larger Delta 2. I'll keep it if it's quiet. I have Delta 2 but it sits not plugged in since it's crazy loud. Hate the Delta 2 noise.

Costco did a bait and switch calling it Premium. There's no such thing on site.
