I love the IMDB user reviews. I'll check them out when I'm trying to figure out what show to watch. I don't pay any attention to what the paid critics say. I was surprised that IMDB was so negative on Inventing Anna. I loved it mostly because of Julia Garner's performance. I watched two more episodes of Prime Suspect but I don't think I'll continue with it so it's on to something else.

I just heard this morning that all remaining Rite Aid stores closed last Friday. Can't believe this wasn't bigger national news. That, or I'm living under a rock!, lol.

I can understand not having it on our local news as there were no Rite Aids in MN where we currently live but still surprised I didn't hear this sooner. Maybe it wasn't such a 'big' story since RA's have been slowly closing?

It was on the front page of Yahoo on Saturday. I feel like lots of businesses try to do 'big' things on a Friday afternoon when they want less media on something.

Missed that too! I only go on the Yahoo page on Mondays to Fridays; mostly to check finances and see what the markets are doing. Agree with you that lots of big announcements are made after the close of business on Fridays.

We got no mention of it here. I have really missed RA since Walgreens bought them. It's really sad that another company is gone. They were such a great place to shop and obtain many freebies over the years.

I see two former RA employees almost every day. They now work at a grocery store. It's hard to believe that I haven't been in a RA for 2 years. RA was such a big part of my shopping experience. I always thought that CVS was the store that kept me going but now I see that it was RA. I hate to say it but I wish that it was CVS that closed.

My email is also Yahoo (I sometimes get asked why I still use that old of service, but it's too much of a hassle to make all the changes for a new email), but instead of going to the Yahoo front page to get to my email, I have a link on my 'favorite's bar' that takes me straight to my email. Don't know how much time it saves, but possibly quite a bit over the many years of use.

I used to have yahoo email until I got hacked. I hated the yahoo front page. Every story was Chrissy Tiegen claps back. Chrissy did so much clapping that her hands must've been really sore.

How are you doing these days? Did you say that your husband retired? Does that make things easier for you? How is your son doing? I don't see you on here very much. You used to post all of the time on the podium. Do you ever talk to any of those people? I don't know how you survived the podium. You're way too nice and the podium was filled with jerks.

It does probably save you time, true, but for me I like seeing their take on different issues. I quit X over a year ago and don't do Tik Tok, so without their front page I would likely miss many stores of interest.

And you're right about yahoo being an old service, but they actually still support my rocketmail address which is definitely OG! In addition, I can link into my gmail email account from my yahoo email. I don't think gmail offers that as an option. I feel like you, changing my main email address is just too much.

Just a point of reference, I haven't seen a Chrissy Tiegen story on Yahoo in at least the last year. She's old news at this point.
