I've ordered other nuts from this Amazon label, and they were always fine, fresh and in good shape. However, if you're near a Trader's Joe, they always have whole Almonds $3.99/lb. bag. Almonds are SO cheap because California produces over 80% of the world's crop.

I use S&S to get these for slightly lower cost / oz from Blue Diamond, 40oz is best deal, and watch for occasional coupons / discounts on them, I esp like the Smokehouse ones, others rec Korean BBQ:

It would really be nice if we stopped with the fear-mongering. We know what you're trying to say, but a cup of salt would be like buying salt instead of nuts. And your salt tolerance and standards dont apply to everyone. If you dont like salt or can't eat it due to health concerns - fine. But dont expect everyone esle to be salt-sensitive or to have the same aversion to salt as you do.
