the stupid app calculates sales tax on the full regular price of every item, even if it's on sale.

The 7-11 web site must be broken. I can add an endless amount of pizzas to my cart and it comes out to $0 not including delivery and convenience fee. In for 10 pizzas I guess. I wonder if they'll deliver it

Has anyone else noticed the app charges way more tax than they legally can for pickup? My area's fast food tax is ~ 9%, and they are adding 13% tax pre-coupon. That adds almost $3.50 to a $21 order after their extra $0.50 convenience fee, or >30% of the total post-coupon.

It wants me to take and upload a picture of my ID ahead of time for beer?? Ughhhhhh.... Why can't they just check it there? I am sure they will anyway.

it's because they're charging tax on the regular prices, pre-sale price and pre-coupon.
so if a large pizza is on sale for $6, if the regular price of the pizza was $11, you get charged tax on $11 even if you're paying $6 for the pizza.

Their store brand cold pressed juices are pretty good and they're 2 for 5.50 right now. 7 of them get to 20 bucks and change. just enough to take 10 bucks off.

Pizzas are discounted $5.99 now instead of 11. When I added one to cart it shows up as $0 for some reason. Trying to checkout on pickup gives me an error. For delivery no error but has bunch of fees and tips that add upto almost $10. If someone is gonna do delivery anyway, might want to get their pizzas.
I placed an order today and noticed the $0 pizza as well. On the Transaction History page it shows there is a promotion for a free pizza for first time 7Now customers. Promotion ends March 4, 2025.

Wait. If they're calling it sales tax but pocketing it themselves, I don't think the state tax commissioner would appreciate that. And if they are over-taxing and remitting it to the state, that's gotta be some violation as well.

The FOOTBALL10 code stacks with the free large pizza with a new account. I got 2 large pizzas and 5 large Slurpees for 10.50 + 50 cent fee and taxes.
