You mount it on an area like side of your vanity. That way you can choose what options to wash with. Easier than using the built in and limited side controls.

We have them mounted where they can be reached forward of the toilets, rather than needing to reach back and down.

Bidet is game changing, you will never go back. Remote control is a must where you can see all controls easily, clearly while sitting. Mount the remote on the wall next to your shoulder.
We bought at Costco at least 8 years ago, still running great

This is the best price for one with heated water and seat, as well as a remote. Get one and your behind will thank you.
I don't have this model. But I found the more expensive one doesn't add much more.

This may by location specific but for anyone who's had these installed how much was it to install? I'm assuming an electrician has to run power behind the toilet or into the under sink cabinet.

Get an extension cord and nail it along the baseboards

I've had this one for a few years. Very happy with it. Lol at we everyone freaking out about the wireless remote, it's actually a pretty nice feature imo. You can put it wherever works best for your bathroom.
