You mount it on an area like side of your vanity. That way you can choose what options to wash with. Easier than using the built in and limited side controls.

We have them mounted where they can be reached forward of the toilets, rather than needing to reach back and down.

Bidet is game changing, you will never go back. Remote control is a must where you can see all controls easily, clearly while sitting. Mount the remote on the wall next to your shoulder.
We bought at Costco at least 8 years ago, still running great

This may by location specific but for anyone who's had these installed how much was it to install? I'm assuming an electrician has to run power behind the toilet or into the under sink cabinet.
I remember that our architect for our home remodel (which included a bathroom) was pretty insistent about installing an outlet behind the toilet for just this reason. She apparently was a fan...

Electricity Required
The BB-1200L is an electric smart bidet toilet seat and requires a nearby GFCI outlet. Per quality standard requirements, the BB-1200L comes with a 4' power cord.

My buddy was in a car accident and couldn't wipe his ass due to the injuries. I felt bad for him. I felt worse for his wife. So, I bought him one of these, but really I bought it for his wife. He loves it!

GFCI extension cord to plug in to the existing GFCI outlet in your bathroom. Looks a bit weird, but it works

electrician
for inwall running
needed a licensed electrician. will chargr around $450 just to run a gfci outlet inwall. if you got a round toilet. spend another $250 for labor and $150 on elongated.

and if you need to remodel your bathroom. minimum $8k.

I have the Moen 5 series from Costco for almost 4 years now. It started going bad and its functions were randomly acting up shortly after 3 years of ownership. Its manufacturer warranty only covers 3 years. It was pretty good while it lasted, but I probably won't buy it again and will try a different brand next. Just waiting for a good sale.

And when do you realize that you forgot to flush?
I would assume when the smell becomes unbearable.

This is the elongate version. Anyone know a deal for the normal or smaller version, or from another brand?

Just got this and installed it with an extension cord from GFCI outlet from main bathroom so I could test it out before I spend $ on an electrician to add an outlet. The water pressure is great, but no way that dryer is gonna get you fully dry. I wish it had more wind power. The dryer gets a little bit too hot too. Not sure how that compares to any other bidet seat. My only complaint is that the seat is comically huge compared to my toilet that is on the smaller size. I don't know how much I want to spend at the moment considering the economic uncertainty that is coming next week.

Thanks! We're on year 2 with our Moen. One of the nozzles is half blocked, and our model does not seem to support turning the beeping sound off. Looking for alternative as we can't stand the beeping sound. Curious to see how the is one compares.
