none of the reviews pertain to the operation of the laptop. all 1 star reviews are about 1) RAM is not upgradeable, or 2) price too high. otherwise they all agree the screen is gorgeous. I own the 2tb NVMe. 32gb version which I picked up for $1191 open box and the laptop is amazing. yes it gets hot (only when gaming) but you need to have good vent clearance (only place it on hard flat surface) and limit fps to 60 for it to run warm and not hot. I'm not crazy for anything more than 60fps as that suits my needs just fine but a few tweaks and the thing purrs and thermals are pretty much under control.
