This is the same price it was available during Christmas.

I replaced a 2nd or 3rd gen IP Duo that was starting to turn itself on. Maybe it's just me, but I liked the old one better. The IP Duo pot (at the time) came with measurement markers and I feel like it sauteed hotter. While it was just adequate for browning, I've started doing that job on the stove, creating an extra dish to wash.

I got the Instant Pot one pictured here for $30 in 2018 or 2019 too...then the same store ran them on sale for Black Friday for $15 so I did a return/rebuy lol. I know everyone didn't get them so cheap but I agree, these in any brand at $70 in 2025 listed as a great deal seems pretty high.

It was equivalent to the Lux model, so no low pressure or yogurt setting either. And it had a Teflon coated pot. Otherwise, it was a good deal. They did sell an SS replacement pot though. I think the 8qt was $30 on sale.
The Insignias were all recalled and discontinued because the pot measurement lines were wrong.

Just last week, BB was clearing out the glass lids for $6.

Just noticed Amazon dropped the price on the Instant Pot Duo Plus 6 Quart. It's down to $69.99, which seems like a good deal considering it's usually much more expensive. It does everything from slow cooking to making yogurt, and even comes with an app full of recipes.
Thought you might want to check it out if you're looking for an easy way to handle meals.
