In case anyone else unaware, foaming soap is just regular soap diluted with water in a 3:1 ratio. You're literally paying more mostly water, so never understand paying this stuff to begin with. The thing that makes it foam is the dispenser itself.

Not all refills dilute well, and not all dispenser last long...we usually managed 2-3 uses out of Method before the aerator pump broke. You still come out ahead, but it's never as good as the real thing. Especially on the scent, which is also more concentrated in the foaming version.

We ended up just going back to cheaper regular soaps in the end. But kudos to Big Soap for an excellent scam...er...business model!

I use Dr Bronner's, pick any scent you like. I probably dilute 1:4 soap:water but just eyeball it.

Even "gelish" soaps do well in a foam pump. I like Mrs. Meyer's refills when they go on sale (33 oz for under $6) or Dr. Bronner's, but I've used old body wash I was trying to get rid of and it worked like a charm. Just don't try it with "lotiony" soaps
