My wife and I beat 1, 2, and all DLC couch co op on Switch. Game ran flawlessly.

Beware if you have marriage issues, this game can cause divorce.

Somewhat uncommon knowledge but all these games are soft ports to switch meaning they were just kind of tossed over to the console.

1, 2, and their acquired dlc all work pretty well on Switch.

All You Can Eat (a standalone with all the content from the other games blended together) runs HORRIBLE at times. The larger maps lag. Sometimes the game gets stuck in endless loading screens. While it is generally the better "deal", it is not always the better experience IMO.

Last note, if you plan to play with friends remotely, ya'll need the same version of the game unfortunately. Just because all you can eat contains the second sequels content, does not mean you can play with someone playing on Overcooked 2. All You Can Eat is a standalone game with all the content from the other games.

Oh, don't worry, my family rioted after about 15 minutes playing part 2 last year. We still barely talk to each other.

Can confirm, the loading time for all you can eat is ridiculously long... I hope this game will run much better on switch 2 because it was really fun.

I know it's not the $d way to deliberate on a deal, but this goes on sale pretty regularly (like every month, pretty much) and this has been the sale price since December 2021.
Also, the Gourmet Edition also tends to go on sale almost as frequently, and the sale price the last couple times has been $9.69 (prior to that it bottomed out at $12.12 on sale for like 2.5 years).
If you're interested in getting the DLC it might be worth waiting until the Gourmet Edition inevitably goes on sale (I'd guess towards the end of February/early March).
It adds: Surf 'n' Turf, Campfire Cook Off, Night of the Hangry Horde, Carnival of Chaos, and the Too Many Cooks pack.

Dang didn't know this. I just bought it today, but guess reading your comments should have waited. Next time I will wait before I jump on a Frontpage deal.

I don't experience any lag problems but all the maps take a long time to load. Bought the all you can eat version for all the content and was totally worth the price for countless hours of fun
