They're normally $65 + $2 shipping - when they do go on sale, this is the price they hit though. They were at this price for the September 2024 coupon book for example. [imgur.com]

I regularly use the knock-off Amazon replacement heads. Honest question - are the name-brand heads really worth 4 to 5 times the price of the knock-offs?

I buy them for around $3 each, but yes, I think they are worth it.

They were this price less than a month ago through Christmas and before that was September 2024, it seems to happen often enough.

Nope. Knockoffs are just as good.

Man, these brush heads are like inkjet cartridges. They jack you once you're on their ecosystems.

They're made from the same plastic, the only difference is bristle design. If you have good brushing technique then bristle design doesn't matter. Before power brushes, people used manual brushes and still do.

I use the generic ones too and have zero cavities. Same as before when I used the expensive ones. So, ZERO difference.

$14 for 6 brushes. ZERO cavities! 😂

Could you share why you use the name brands over the knock offs? I'm legitimately curious - do the Philips branded ones use some sort of stronger plastic that guarantees it won't decay into the body or something? At a glance, it really just seems like a luxury tax for the logo.

I use soft heads and the knock offs that I've tried aren't as soft. Sometimes, they fit poorly on the handle.
