Once it gets dirty I could see an airflow restriction problem. Easily avoided by changing them before they get that way. I've been using the 2200s for years. I just change them every 2 months vs every three.

Better filtration and performance than traditional air purifiers and will cost less depending on the fan and supports you use. They are just less visually appealing. I plan on putting one where the air intake for my furnace is and use less restrictive air filters in the furnace itself to reduce the stress on it.
The reason is there are more pleats in the 1900 but they aren't terribly dense layers. This also proves to be helpful to not cause a drastic jump as they get dirty per Project Farm.
For me… it's either the 1900, or I go with spun fiberglass when I want the best flow and don't mind less filtration.
