- For upgrades, the M.2 2280 PCI Express 4.0 SSD, M.2 2230 wireless card, and battery pack are all upgradeable. However, the LPDDR5X RAM is soldered down. It's also somewhat hard to open the laptop for upgrades.
In my opinion this is a solid 4070 gaming laptop if you need one now. I would personally wait for deals like this with an Intel Core Ultra 2XX CPU (Lunar Lake) which brings better integrated graphics and energy efficiency (battery life) but who knows when we will see gaming laptops with those CPUs around this price point.This will likely be fine unless you know that you will need more than 16GB RAM or know that you have demanding multi-core CPU workloads.
