Not sure if there is any truth to it but TP-Link is being investigated for Chinese Govt spyware. Just on that alone I would pass on anything by them.

Also I should have emphasized, if you have a Costco membership I highly suggest getting your mesh system there. If it craps out in 2 years or like Orbi, they roll out some awful firmware that makes them useless (very common in these Orbi threads) you can return it and get something better. I was able to return my $500 set and buy a better, cheaper Deco system years later. Costco is great for this aspect.

I have this for 3 days now and the orbi app is hot garbage compared to TP link deco. The router also keeps disconnecting from satellites and going offline.
I will return and go back to TP-link

Google Wifi 6e 3-pack had been FP for $160 open box (excellent) at Best Buy. Enjoy your mid deal.
Not the same system dude, come back again with the Orbi system at lower price

Costco limits electronics returns to 90 days nowadays.

Not true, I return Orbi system way outside the 90 days window before.

Nope, they take them on some not on others. Wifi, stereo receivers other stuff is gtg and I suggest using it for these mesh routers while you still can. Mine was bought in 2020 and I took it back in like 2022-23ish I can't remember but it was WAYYY outside 90 days.

Here's their return policy for electronics:

Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date the member received the merchandise) for Televisions, Projectors, Major Appliances (refrigerators above 10 cu. ft., freezers, ranges, cooktops, over-the-range and under-counter microwaves, range hoods, dishwashers, water heaters, washers and dryers), Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Smart Watches, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones (return details will vary by carrier service contract).

If you want your data stolen by the CCP then get TP Link.
