Close. At 49", it's the same size as those 49" 5120x1440 higher res super ultrawide, which is equivalent to having two 27" 1440p next to each other. So this monitor is two 27" 1080p.
the screen is only 14" tall... this monitor is essentially the same as having two 24" monitors next to each other. having 4k res on a 24" screen is silly imho.
I have a similar 49" monitor that is 1440p. While 4k is ridiculous, i almost feel like 1080p is equally ridiculous. I'd say if someone can't afford a 1440p 49" a smaller 1440p would provide a better experience than this.
who cares what other users say were all greedy here
I shouldn't and pretty much don't care. Who wants to help a community that's always abrasive towards its member? I see a lot of deals that aren't on here but my willingness to help out people that just complain is very low.

Yeah this is a ridiculous monitor. You could get an LG 32" IPS 4K screen with twice the resolution and at about 1/2 to 2/3 the price.
But it isn't 4+ feet wide. You are comparing apples and oranges. It's almost like you have never seen a 49" curved monitor in person if you think a 32" even belongs in the same conversation or use case. 4K doesn't fill your peripheral and filling your peripheral doesn't add pixels.....

I'm confused. The title says 1080p but the details say 1440p. Which resolution is it?
I'd lean heavily towards 1080 (even if several places in the description say 1440) being the box shows 1080p on the far left side
you can't honestly be asking if this walmart store brand monitor is better than Samsung.... is walmart store brand soda better than Coke? some people probably think so, but by and large the answer will be no. if cost is a major factor, this might be worth looking at though. personally, I'm not a fan of curved monitors and would rather save the money by having 2x flat monitors next to each other for essentially the same screen real estate.
Why rating unhelpful when I was just asking a question ?

27inches. It is silly to have 1080p on 27s. It will look very grainy.
Cant understand why this is on FP. Not a good product or price. Save your money folks. You will be so much happier with 2K res 34inch 21:9 ratio. If you must go 32:9, catch samsung g9 on a sale.

eh, I've bought some crappy Sammys and HP's at Wal Mart as well, so. . .
Think this would suit me better for office work than gaming. Get another for that.
But the screen with curve has got to be 2.5 x as wide as a 24" monitor. Gives me 4-5 windows across and one long ticker along the top. . .
EDIT: I've got to be able to find a better spec/brand clearance and/or open box for not too much more. I can wait. Anyways this post got me thinking
