In for one. Worst case scenario I take it back if it's garbage.

I've owned so many different brands and this Hypervolt remains my favorite one https://hyperice.com/products/hypervolt-2-pro/

Based on product review photos it appears this uses either a barrel socket charger or something proprietary, not USBC.

Sorry why do you need a usbc? For data transfer?

USB C does more than data transfer:

"USB-C (Universal Serial Bus Type-C) is a small, reversible connector that can transfer data, provide power, and output video. It's used to connect many modern devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

USB-C has become the standard for nearly all things charging.

I have a general standing rule to not buy things that use other charging standards, within reason. I don't want to have to deal with a bunch of different proprietary or specialty cables/chargers.

I believe this kind of device requires a note from a medical professional to be eligible

I would wait for the newer model to go on sale. It includes the 8" attachment.

I have this one and a TheraGun. The TheraGun is more powerful and I find the percussion more comfortable. I've also had to RMA one of these for battery death after just a few months of use. However, the new one is still working almost a year later, although it is used quite rarely.
