Seems like a good deal but I couldn't verify price history on 3C. I have really come to like govee products recently and would not hesitate to jump on this if I needed it. Thanks OP!

Wishful thinking that the $90 coupon also applied. The 40% code trumps the coupon, which disappears when the code is applied. So, yes, $179.99 is w/ 40% code applied, but the code discount is not "additional" to the $90 coupon; it's in lieu of.
According to the energy star certified site this only removes 50 pints/day and is certified at 1.9 dehumidifier efficiency (higher number the better). The midea at Costco online is also 50 pints/day and certified at 1.8 dehumidifier efficiency for also 180 (seems to go on sale for 140 at times) with that Costco piece of mind. Any comparisons?

As someone that returns these yearly to costco because they never last more than 12-14 months, get whatever is easiest to return/refund for you.
the pumps all tend to fail at 6 months, and the condenser leaks out refrigerant at 12-14 month mark.
YMMV

I bought one of these and it lasted 13 months. Compressor went out, and was just out of warranty. It would have cost more to fix than a new one. Good app, but I don't recommend if you want something that lasts.

OK so you have had 1 fail.. and had to return it and got another one.
I bought the Midea branded one (looks identical) when I moved into a 1940's rental home that is poorly sealed. It brought down the relative humidity from 70% to a steady 45% after a few days. I only need to run it once or twice a week, and it helped to remove the smells caused by excess humidity.

Yea my Hisense from Costco has an error. Basically doesn't work. Probably leaked out or sensor gone bad. No water forming.

So $179.99....like they said? Thanks for clarifying, I was worried the $179.99 wasn't going to be $179.99, but $179.99. Thank god it is actually $179.99!
