Had these for a while for my two small boys, came to the conclusion that any toothbrush that can't lay upright without tilting over (like these) is horrible. Brushing small children's teeth is hard enough, if you need to set this down at anytime you're gonna get toothpaste on the counter. I'd pass.

There are, of course, suction cup toothbrushes which don't completely forsake the ability to lay flat. The preferred design I've stockpiled at home for the kids is the Firefly Light-Up Timer Toothbrush (see here [fireflytoothbrush.com]). A built in one-minute timer, a decent toothbrush design (with a head smaller than adult brushes, but larger than the head on the Colgate My First Baby and Toddler Toothbrush), and a suction cup.

Overall the value of this deal entirely depends upon interest in the Crayola design. You can easily beat the price per brush at any big box store (5 / $1 @ Wal-Mart, 4 / $2 @ Target).

As soon as my kids were able to hold their own toothbrushes, they went electric.
