Imagine writing this in 2025 and thinking it was clever or original.

Especially when company says it right on their own page [grapenuts.com].
This is a very good buy, very tasty and healthy too.
You need to let it get a bit soggy in the milk before eating it.
That is unlike most cereals where you want to eat it before it gets soggy.
This might be one of the best cereals to eat. Good fiber, vitamins, minerals. Treat it like oatmeal and it won't break your teeth.

Let it soak in some milk or almond milk for a bit, then scoop it up!

In for 5!!! Thanks OP!

i tried to eat these as a cereal with milk as in the picture. definitely not the way. probably better as an ingredient for some other recipe.
I have 2 back up boxes already but I can't pass up this price.
You should try adding Post Grape-Nuts to your favorite yogurt. It's a game changer. It stays crunchy all the way through. I can't believe I never tried it like this growing up. It's the only way I eat yogurt now. I used to eat it with milk and sugar but it just didn't work for me the way it did my parents. I've also switched to Malt-O-Meal bagged cereals because they have a resealable bag. I reuse the old bags with new cereal or make my own mixes. Highly recommended you try when they are on sale as well. Amazon Fresh had a $5 off $15 so I added to my stash.

ADD to yogurt. Only way I eat it now because they go so good together. You get to enjoy every little crunch that way.

TL;DR - Not as good of a price after S&S, however Walgreens also has single boxes of this for $1.99 (https://www.walgreens.com/store/c...54-product) and many other types of cereal for the same price. CVS has some different cereals for $1.99.

Cereals under $5 (Scroll through to see $1.99 options) - https://www.walgreens.com/search/...rice&Nso=1

Golden Crisp 14.75oz (OOS at all stores in my area. Available for free shipping w/ $35 purchase)
Honey-Comb 12.5oz
Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal With Almonds 12oz
Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal Honey Roasted 12oz
Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal Strawberry 11oz
Great Grains Cereal Raisins, Dates, & Pecans 16oz
Great Grains Cranberry Almond Crunch 14oz
Oreo O's 11oz
Fruity Pebbles 11oz
Cocoa Pebbles 11oz
Grape Nuts 20.5oz
(Marshmallow Fruity Pebbles 11oz - isn't showing online, however my local store also had it for $1.99)

If case you are trying to make a minimum spend, these seem like decent values:
*Nice! Roasted Cashew Halves & Pieces 8.0oz Lightly Salted, Unsalted, or Honey Roasted BOGO - $4.99 online (my store was $5.99 since I didn't use online order/pickup)
https://www.walgreens.com/search/...4294896499
(if this link doesn't work, search for "nuts" and filter to Cashews and Nice! and "Nice for You" brands)

*Nice! 16oz Peanuts Honey Roasted or Dry Roasted - Salted/Lightly Salted/Unsalted
https://www.walgreens.com/search/...2000011004
(if this link doesn't work, search for "nuts" and filter to Peanuts and Nice! brand)

The site kept telling me the codes for 15% off $25+ (PICKUP15) or 20% off $45+ (PICKUP20) hadn't been satisfied after adding a combination of the above cereals and nuts to my cart that was over $45. I suspect it is because the items are on-sale? NEW10 for 10% off did seem to work on the cashews.

PLEASE NOTE - The first Walgreens store I visited had higher prices on the shelf and wouldn't price match online (Their terms indicated they wouldn't and I asked an employee who also confirmed). They said to get the online sales prices the order would need to be placed online for store pickup. The shelf prices at the second Walgreens store I visited matched the online prices for the cereal and peanuts and was $1 higher on the Cashews. While checking out, everything was ringing up higher until I entered my phone number as part of Walgreens Rewards, so having a rewards may be a requirement to get the shelf price if shopping in store. Buying online and picking up in-store would ensure you received the online prices.

Edit: CVS also has many types of cereal on sale for $1.99 - YMMV as many seem to be out of stock in-store and for shipping

Thx OP, TU and repped the other day but forgot to post. I bought 10 at $1.69 each! I stock up when there's a good deal because I donate them to the Church pantry. These are very filling and taste good too! 👏

First time I had this my jaw got sore. Then I learned how to eat it properly.
