I picked these up last time they were posted. Don't recall the price at that time. But these are very nice pen lights at 2 bucks each. They do come with batteries, just remove the plastic isolator thing on the battery that keeps it from turning on in the package.

EDIT** I looked at my last order, these were 8.99, April 2024.

They are decent for the money. The light is very low/dim and the button is hard to press. Not bad to have sitting around in your house.

How are they packaged? Individually? Or as a 4 pack? I'm looking to buy these as gifts and it would be nice if they were individually packed.

Individually wrapped in cellophane and the set of four is in a single simple cardboard small box, like a set of pens. They were not individually boxed. Not exactly what you are looking for, but they are decent lights for the money.

The only negative is that the end switch is difficult to press.

None of the links worked at first. Kept getting "page not found". Then I clicked on the amazon.com after the blue, now the links all work fine. I have several inspection lights from Coast, and I really like them. You can point the light at what you want to see, and not worry about reflections from other objects.

Each light is wrapped in plastic, all 4 then came in a single box. Gift bag or something like that would be best for gifting, but they do not have their own individual box.

I am not sure of total run time, but They come with cheap AAA batteries. A couple of my less used ones still have the batteries they came with. Altho, I am not using them for long periods at a time.

They are so dim it's honestly hard to tell when the battery is getting low.

Anyone one know if it's too bright to shine in someone's eyes?

They work but they are very cheap. I have numerous Coast and also a Kobalt one and they are far superior to these.
