Got the Q10. Seems like a good deal as I've been eyeing it for a while. It says gateron g pro switches, so I'm assuming it's 1.0 and not the latest 3.0 version?

Thanks OP. I had to start a free trial of Prime on a second account to use the coupon, but as far as I can tell the Q5 has never been less than $99.99. With the coupon I got it for $79.99.

heads up the K6 does not appear to have hot-swappable switches. I nearly pulled the trigger this morning before realizing that.

Keychron make nice and affordable keyboards, Had K3 pro for awhile and then switched to K15 Max. Love the alice-layout. i'd personally go to brown-switch over red-switch, as the latter is too soft for me.

I bought a keychron last time they were on woot and realized i went too small and missed the arrow keys. It was such a nice kb though and I returned it to swap out only to be crushed when I saw everything was sold out. Since then I went down the mechkb rabbit hole and starting buying and modding cheaper keyboards that people touted "just as good" as Keychron.
On blackfriday I saw a good deal on their C1 and gave it a shot. It's amazing. if you type a lot, the keychron feels perfect. I have already sold or given away most of my other cheaper mech keyboards in favor of this one and I could only picture replacing it with another Keychron. I am sold.

I fell down the Mech Rabbit hole as well. And due to the 10 and 20% off Woot holiday sales, I now own 6 different Keychrons and love them all. Lets me try different layouts, switches, and keycaps much eaiser and for longer.

the top right custom button placement is dog s hit.
I can not tell you how many times I have tried to press delete only to change the back light to seizure mode random blink.

This for sure. Looking at a couple of the 60% ones, ones a K ones Q both can be wired but the one that can be wireless is cheaper but they both seem hot swappable and have the same switches to start. Definitely missing something

My advice to the keyboard lovers. If you can afford it, buy your grail board now. Spend an uncomfortable amount of money. Get the Topre or the Kinesis or whatever. Maybe this one is it for you. But this is a rabbit hole. Get to the bottom as quickly as possible.
