There are some interesting articles online that explain how the Resnick owned Wonderful Company gained control of 57% of the Kern Water Bank's water in California and began selling the water back to local governments. Pretty wild

Are these shelled? Otherwise, I feel like that's comparing apples and oranges, since the shells make up a fair amount of the weight.

Wonderfully horrible human beings! Also it takes 1 gallon of water per pistachio to grow.
Also the company uses "cleaned" fracking water also 🤢 when they have to. The oil industry does not have to disclose what chemicals they use in their fracking water because each company has their own trade secrets so who knows what the hell we're ingesting

The Resnick family family is worth like 1.7 billion, they own Fiji water also. And have screwed the people of that island over and over again.

They use their money and political affiliations to stop Iranian pistachios, which are supposed to be a million times better, from entering the country.

Pistachios are double the weight in shells. 30g of no shell is equal to 60g with shell. So you need double the amount of shelled and cheaper price to be better

I have Kirkland brand and these. I have no qualms with Kirkland brand. It may be worth it to try
I find the Kirkland brand ones to be better than these.

Also POM, (pomegranate juice)...
Not a superfood whatsoever, another huge controversy where they had to stop advertising it's antioxidant benefits. WONDERFUL NEEDS TO CEASE TO EXIST! NOT JUST THAT BRAND, BUT ALSO ALL OF THEY'RE AFFILIATIONS AND POLITICAL PUPPETS!

Has anyone else noted the huge taste difference in shelled vs. unshelled pistachios? I buy the 3 pound bag of unshelled from BJ's almost weekly and actually far prefer those over any of the Wonderful brands but especially the shelled nuts. Very interesting topic because I remember the day when just about all the pistachios came in from Iran and having the red dye stain my hands for weeks on end. Yeah, I'm old.

I'd completely forgotten about the red dye. Hell, I don't even remember when they crashed to exist 😂

If enough shoppers refuse to buy a brand of product retailers will clearance it out and bring in something people are willing to buy.

Best tasty pistachios in the world are the Iranian pistachios, but are not available here due to the boycott, but are available in Europe, etc.
