Costco has this for $199 new... $50 more for new and Costco's Warranty... just providing another choice.
I bought one at $400 a few years ago, still going strong, $149 would be a slickdeal.

I should note that wearing it for like 5-6 hours continuously, i get some ear pain.
Don't know if it still works, but I used the below coupon code for $50 off

To those who have owned both, how much better does the newer S2e sound? The S2 does routinely go on sale for $199 new at Costco but at least B&W includes a 2 year warranty on their refurbished units.

My boss bought me a set of these from an airport vending machine during a conference flight for the noice cancelling (we were sitting right next to the wings and the engine noise was horrible). Still use them- best headphones I've ever owned.

Is this one better than the Sony M4 or M5?

I tried both (recertified S2 and brand new S2e) and ended up keeping the S2e. To my (very untrained) ears, they sounded clearer and had better separation with certain genres - especially heavy metal. Maybe confirmation bias though after watching some YouTube videos lol.

For most of the music I listened to when comparing, though, they sounded pretty much identical.
