I've only bought one watch from Jomashop, and it was years ago, but yeah, I think it's stuff that comes with an "international warranty" that's good for purchases anywhere but the US. That doesn't mean their watches aren't authentic, just not covered by warranty.

All these watch post deals especially from Jomashop seems like its from bots. The prices on these watches have always been the same because they run the same discount throughout. For example if the discount is 30% off, they will name it Valentines day sale if in February or 30% off memorial day sale. Same discount, different discount wording. Whoever posts these watch deals are just grabbing a random watch thats discounted but the discount isn't really a discount because it's always discounted on jomashop. I track a few different Seiko models specifically and the discount has been the same throughout.

You're not going to get the warranty typically. Tbh I've bought 3 watches on the "cheaper" side. For a tissot prx quarts for 289, citizen tyousa yellow dial for 209, seiko 5 discontinued model for 100. Worked out great but you do have to pay for return shipping

With mechanical watches you rarely need to invoke warranty, it either works or it doesnt. Then you would just get it serviced down the line, but the service will probably be more expensive than that watch itself.

Over Christmas, I purchased a watch. I noticed a discrepancy between the model number on the outer box and the model number tag on the watch itself. The watch inside the box appeared to be a less expensive model. Since it was a gift and I think the receiver wouldn't mind, unfortunately, the company was unwilling to adjust the price and instead requested that I pay for return shipping to return.

From my experience, this retailer seems to specialize in lower-priced watches, and customer service may not be their strong suit. It took weeks to receive responses to my inquiries. The comparable watches i bought fron other retailers came with a warranty card, thier's didn't.

Joma shop is a roll of the dice, and I would argue the odds are stacked against you. Looks like this thread is a little light on Joma fan boi input, but I'm sure they'll show up eventually. I've been burned by them, and will never roll that Joma dice again.

Yup. This is one of their most popular scams: The bait and switch. "Oh, sorry, our mistake. Please pay a ridiculous return shipping fee and we will refund your money". They never admit fault, even though it's always their fault. My guess is they pay SD for promoted posts, because I see this garbage on here all the time.

This isn't quite true. They do discount models more at times. I've always waited to purchase from them until there's a further discount. Just bought a Tissot this month that had been sitting at $289.99 for a month and went down to $275.00 finally.

There's generally no warranty on any product bought through unauthorized channels. Jomashop is a grey market seller and that's the whole point - sacrifice authorized retailer and you get access to cheaper supply. They often order from countries with weaker currency and then resell in the USA.
