Why not stick with Spectrum Mobile vs. Verizon? Same service for much less per month, correct?

Yes they will. I did the same with the iPhone 12 though.
Verizon blamed Spectrum, Spectrum said they unlocked everything on their end, and Samsung said there's no issue with their phones.
Multiple cases over a year have gotten no resolution.
Yes, I had the same issue with pixel 8 pro from Spectrum. Even after unlocking, esim didn't work for Verizon.

So if i get $700 more for my iphone 13 as trade in, this 700 is spread over 36 months?
