CAP filed a lawsuit against BalanceFrom and Hulkfit in July 2022. For "unfair competition" and "unjust enrichment". The lawsuit went on for 2 years. Eventually, CAP abandoned the lawsuit in April 2024, filing a motion to dismiss all charges against BalanceFrom and Hulkfit. No settlement fee was paid by either BalanceFrom or Hulkfit.

So, yes they were sued by CAP. But CAP did not win the lawsuit, and BalanceFrom did not pay anything to them.

I don't believe BalanceFrom is in any bankruptcy proceedings. Maybe they are just hurting financially, and just dumping products at fire sale prices?

Why did weight prices drop so hard all of a sudden? Feels like a couple of months ago a $1/pound was a good deal.
