I can't speak for the one in this deal but I've had no issues in the few months I've had the Mini and can't complain for $36.

Some older cars only have wired carplay. This adapter allows you to have wireless carplay. My truck is 2019 and it's wired only and I use a similar adapter

Is there response lag on yours?
I have an aftermarket Boss unit installed in my wifes car and she connects via regular USB for carplay.
Anyway, this seems like a good price, but I don't believe for a second the actual price for this is $99. Amazon is full of $40-50 wireless CarPlay adapters with good reviews. They probably all have the same insides.
Meanwhile there's no reviews whatsoever in the listing... Hard pass.
