DT hasn't had good prices to compete with HD like they have in the far past. People used to crash their server because of too many orders. Now, they are lucky to get a few customers once in awhile with their marketing strategy of upping the price and giving bigger "discounts". I wish I could go back in time to buy a lot more. It's crazy to think prices now are higher than few years ago on the same product.
Agreed, I bought a ton before but haven't wanted anything recently because of how they've changed. I've been checking the ryobi swiftclean spot cleaner and it never applies to any sale.

Waiting for the bug zapper to go down to $50-60
Last fall, I was in of their stores in TN and got it for around 50 bucks. It was at the end of the season, so I haven't tried it yet.

Hopefully the shipping is faster than 2 weeks to leave the dock!
What dock? These are all local refurbished/open box items.

DTO has brick and mortar stores all around the country.

I lost my Ryobi impact driver, so I was looking at this deal, but I just noticed that Home Depot actually has the impact driver for cheaper than DT right now! Home Depot has the kit with 1.5 Ah battery and charger for $49.99, while DT has it for $69.99.

Perfect example of how bad these deals are. The DT "deal" is for a refurb too vomit

Umm, that tool is not even a part of this sale. So yeah, a tool that is not on sale is usually not a deal. But the Direct Tools option does come with 2 batteries.

Ditto! Only good deals to be found in-store anymore, if you are lucky to live near one.

The vacuum is pretty nice, but I'm not sure the price is slick. It was ~$30 last year (without battery kit). Now that was SLICK!
I got the dewalt version for $70 and unlike it. Would buy this for $30

I have the 2609 brushed version that I bought from direct tools and have used for 2 seasons of trimmings. Honestly, I have zero complaints. It's sharp, good size, light weight and even with a small 2ah battery I have plenty of charge to get the job done. Thumbs up from me. I'd imagine the brushless is the same, just more efficient and maybe more powerful.

how do i get the free shippimg. the leaf vaccume 40v that comes with a battery is $120. I guess thats an ok deal, but might be better than an $80m worx that i have to mess around with a cord and a cord with reel cost like $50, so yea bett4er off maybe witth the 40v ryobi if its not underpowered and only runs for 15mins. But it wants to charge me $15 ffor shippimg. Id rather get free shipping because paying gor shipping ruins the got a good deal feel.

This vac is great. Very well made and made me think more highly of Ryobi in general. Didn't know they had tools as solid as this one. As a contractor I keep this for vacuuming out the van and small cleanups so I don't have to drag out the big vac and hose.

Anyone found the Ryobi sweeper, model RYSWP? It doesn't come up in my search.

With Direct Tools, is factory blemished better than reconditioned? - in terms of risk or anything like that

I also have this. Have you found a workaround for the knarly on switch? I press and nothing happens,. Then I have to press really hard and then nothing happens. There is a few sec delay between the switch and turn on so it is hard to get it to turn on, Have to press it a few times to turn on.
