I'm a Vornado fanboy from way back but this is not up to their usual standards. I have the OSCR37AE (same as this one, but Alexa-enabled). I'm on my third one. The first two developed an annoying-enough noisy rattle (and I always keep it on low) that I called to have it replaced under the terms of their five-year warranty--which, to their credit, they did readily. (You don't even have to send the old one back; just cut the power cord one inch away from the device, send them a photo, and dispose of it.) Thank G-d for the five-year warranty. But now, my third one is starting to rattle, too.

I paid $100 for it in July 22 (actually, $87.50 because it was Prime Day). Still, for $30, this is pretty slick. I think it's being replaced by a new (hopefully quieter) model.

By the way, in comparison to Vornado's traditional spinning blade fans, no comparison. But the pedestal ones don't oscillate. I was thinking, next time, I'll check out a Dreo oscillating pedestal fan.
"Bullseye Deals" is Target's return n' resale department.

So these are most likely customer returns. They were spit shine refurbished -- sometimes more spit, less shine. You might get one literally brand new with a scuffed box, or it could be missing half the essentials.

Like I said, these are probably customer returns -- probably sent out blindly after being returned.

I've had (and seen others have) a plethora of issues with Bullseye Deals...they do give return labels out like candy, but what's your time and effort worth? You're doing their refurbishment verification process for them.

For the space they take I have always been happy with tower coolers from Vornado. That being said at half speed this model died on me after 2 years 24/7 use. But it was a good fan while it lasted.

A lot of the Dreo models have a removable fan for cleaning / regreasing. I like mine so far.

In for 1, summer is right around the corner and I tossed my old tower fan a few months ago. I have a few vornado already. After this one though, will probably just get DC voltage versions (much quieter)

I've seen these before at $35 or so for refurbished from bullseye deals aka target but it was a mixed bag with a bunch of people saying they had to return them. $30 for a new one with a 5 year guarantee, I'm in for one

I bought two of these in new condition from bullseye deals, both came not working. The oscillate motor will spin the fan but the actual fans don't ever turn on. Seems like this product is a pos with a ton of problems, though you might get one that works idk. Both of mine didn't.

These are good fans! They are good even when they start to squeak. Complicated to disassemble for cleaning. This smaller tower fan blows harder than some of their bigger models. If you have one or are buying one, use dry lubricant on the motor, not WD-40.
