If material is important to you, power blend is a 50/50 cotton polyester mix. Reverse weave is 82% cotton 18% polyester for all colors but stone gray which is 78% cotton and 22 % polyester. Reverse weave feels much more substantial and durable. I like the extra weight on the reverse weave but I am also in a colder climate
Been looking for a deal on the reverse weaves. Are the power blends worth it at this price?
Absolutely. I have four Powerblend Hoodies including one I bought in December 2016 that I still wear. Mine never go in the dryer as I hang them to dry. Wash in cold water, inside out.

Hey! I have a couple reverse weaves (which I picked up for half this price) and am wearing one now. I LOVE them. I've felt up the powerblend in stores and it is noticeably thinner and floppier. The reverse weave has much more structure and is thicker.
Personally I don't think this is an amazing price for powerblend, and I don't think powerblend is a substitute for RW, it's a very different product. You can decide which one you prefer for your needs. For me, RW all the way!
This video compares them hands-on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQKZkCOIx1M (I personally prefer them to fit less baggy than his, but the comparison is useful)

yup, Champs Sports. The deal occurred at least 3 times this year and was posted here each time. Around Black Friday the deal lasted a while, my first one took like 10 days to arrive and after trying it on and seeing the deal was still live I had to pick up a second one. I think they even released a batch for $4.99 a few weeks ago, but those were small only and sold out quickly. Honestly don't understand the economics of how they could offer that.
You can also sometimes find them at Sierra, usually $19.99. Right now they have the joggers, but hoodies only in XS. They had more hoodies a few months ago. Good luck! They are worth the wait.

I bought this in black from Kohl's around 2 months ago. I wear this 3-4x per week and I am careful with it - I almost never pull up the sleeves etc. The cuffs started pilling from the inside and are losing shape already.
I also bought the champion reverse weave heavyweight sweatshirt from Amazon around the same time and the quality difference is significant. It doesn't lose shape, is denser and keeps you warmer. However, fit wise, it is feels a little too short and wide to me. I'm 5'11" and I bought both the products in a medium size.
Love my reverse weave hoodies size large is perfect fit for 6 ft, make sure u take care of them and never put in dryer. I always hang dry all my sweaters and hoodies .

Does this have a cotton-y feel or synthetic feel? Overly synthetic materials dont feel that great on my skin and some even catch on areas where my skin is more rough like my hands if they are a little chapped. Very uncomfortable which is why I go for cotton or more cotton blends.
