They any good brand wise ? I got a deal on the 24" QHD 180hz yesterday for $130 shipped but never heard of this brand just taking a gamble

I don't know how you pulled that from what they said "SOME OF THEIR OTHER BRANDS" (which sounds like KTC owns those brands) but it does mislead people to think they will be receive the same level of quality as those brands. Even if they share panels, it does not mean you are necessarily receiving the same product. I can give you the same ingredients, does not mean our finished product would be the same. You also lose the same level of support, warranty, and quality control
There are trade offs with saving money, and I'm all for taking risks sometimes, but wouldn't want people reading that to think they are getting an LG/SAMSUNG even if sometimes the non-name brand is can possibly be of better quality

This is true, but they are an OEM manufacturer. I was wrong about LG, IMO they make the best panels.

Been seeing a bunch of Koorui, KTC and few other brands in the 23.8" and 24.5" space. A lot of these monitors look like they could be perfect vertical (portrait) secondary monitors. What you all think?

I have a 27" primary and in need of a vertical monitor for chat, OBS, discord etc. and browsing when I'm on stream or watching a video. I picked up a second 27" monitor but it's waaaay too tall when placed vertically as a second monitor. Definitely thinking 23.8 might be a sweet spot (small bezels preferred)

Check out some Youtube reviews on those brands, some can be decent especially as a second monitor as you said, but you may also be able to find a name brand that will fit in that price point as well with a longer life span. I watched a couple of videos myself that had side by sides with Koorui, KTC, Pixio, Samsung and Sansui (all had similar specs if not the same specs)......KTC seemed ok at best, Pixio seemed to have the best performance of the lesser known brands but Samsung did win out, there was an LG that was about $20 more that wasn't part of the side by side, but it was recommended to spend extra money for it instead of any of the others. In motion, even with the higher specs, FPS, etc.....Koorui, Sansui looked pretty abysmal, KTC was just ok
