Pretty good tv. Like OP says, ratings.com rates this tv pretty well and is probably one of the best TVs under $500 right now.
Our living room TV died a few days ago and we picked this up at Best Buy for $350 to get us by until something pops up before the superbowl. For the most part it's good and the UI responds quickly and load fast, but blacks are its big weak point. Blacks are splotchy and you can see the gradient sometimes. Watching Silo it was noticeable sometimes due to it being dark frequently. It has variable refresh rate (up to 60 hrz, meh) for low latency console gaming which is a feature you don't usually see on cheap TV.
If you don't really care that much about perfect picture it's a good TV. It's perfectly acceptable for a bedroom TV or spare room TV.

I have the 15% off deal showing up and it doesn't apply to this TV unfortunately.
