Are u guys really asking really idiotic questions on a public forum?

Why do you THINK they're requiring $30 spend?

....

Because the more you spend, the less money you're actually saving since most items are overpriced at 7-11.

Jesus.

My local 7-Eleven has Coke and Diet Coke 15 packs for $10.49, which comes out to $3.50 each if included in this deal. They also have Pringles for $2/can ($.67 after discount, max 2 per flavor). Be careful when looking at snacks and chips though as most of the items they sell are smaller.

My total for 6 regular size cans of Pringles (3 flavors), and 2 x 15-packs of Coke was $13 + tax.

I didn't check to verify if the pizza works on this deal, but if it does, that would end up being like $2-$3 for a full pizza. And their pizza is better than you may think (at least as of a couple years ago).

These kind of deals are kind of iffy. So why would you take off $20 from $30, when you could take off $5 from $10 or $10 from $20? What I am trying to understand is why they are making the spending threshold so high? I would watch when doing this deal. Make sure the deal works before buying anything at or more than $30.
Clearing out old inventory. Their pizza gets heavily discounted when it nears expiration. I assume aside from their canned or packaged drinks or food, they need to get rid of inventory.

How do you get $5 from $10 or $10 from $20? Another code?

Those are time sensitive on the app. They will have a short time period before they expire.

No. I was just wondering, if the deal could be broken down into smaller spending and discount thresholds, why are they not doing it?

Still, if you spend $30 and get the price to be at or just a smidge over, you would get it for like 66% off or $1.19 (yeah, I still would not spend that much on 16 ounces), but there you go.

Right. Why aren't they just taking off $4.67 from $7?

And the biggest thing of all this, why is $5 supposed to be a deal? If someone in this day and age is making $7.25/hr., affordability would be around $2.90 for a meal. $5 is expensive, yet all the fast food places have it.
I once did an account churn with a bank by opening up a checking account and it was Fifth Third bank. They were trying to sell me on a credit card with cashback of 1.66%. When they checked, if my account from another bank that I had linked to the new account I opened was legit, to direct deposit the $250; they gave me $0.53 and I even got to keep the $0.53.
