No need for a lock. My apple computer is protected by the same technology that Israel's NSA uses. Guaranteed to o catch on fire at the click of a bottom.
Much like all the Chinese mini computers sold on Amazon

A 12 year old accessory for a computer no one wanted then or wants now? Great work.

I never have a problem with my apple laptops getting stolen, found out that no one wants them

Anyone claiming to have multiple MacBook Pro's obviously has zero. No one spends $2K on one, doesn't like it, then buys another.

That said, I can see some use-cases for this, but not many. Most employers use windows based laptops. And anyone carrying their personal MacBook Pro around keep it with them. Maybe if it was in a checked bag on an airplane

I just bought another MacBook Pro a couple months ago, paid $2K for it, and I still don't lock it up myself and don't ever plan to

I don't think either one of you noticed this isn't for a MacBook Pro laptop, it's for an Mac Pro desktop

And yes, the guy is dumb for insulting MacBook Pros. The M series chips are pretty great.

Agreed on your first point that this gadget is for a very old, obsolete Mac desktop product that, to be honest if it were stolen, insurance would probably buy you a brand new Mac Mini or Studio so win-win.

Second point -- he's not "dumb", he's poking fun at Mac people JUST AS APPLE PEOPLE do to Windows users and Android users. His comment was clearly to be humorous.

Interesting how you decided to focus on the plural of "MacBook" instead of the point of the comment itself.

Nice of the Chinese to add such features, free of charge. Coverlaugh

Mine sits over an electromagnetc similar to those used at junk yards to lift cars. If invaded by LE, I flip a switch and all my browser history to hornpub is gone.

Right, but wouldn't you be more concerned that someone would use it as an ashtray than try to steal it? 😂
