If you got this at the sale price...you made a hell of a SlickDeal. This will come in handy somewhere, sometime...and you'll be GLAD you bought it.

Words of Wisdom to others on this...because I did this.

If you put a much smaller bit in the head of the right angle holder, you'll wonder how to get it out - as there's a magnet FIRMLY holding it in there...
I ran into this issue, Googled it...and surprisingly, without even ever noticing, there is a small hole on the back side, that you can push a nail or pin into...that will push that small stuck bit right out!

Something so simple...yet, had me perplexed as I didn't have some tiny needle nose pliers on me at the time to remove a smaller Philips head bit I was trying to use and get into an even smaller space!!

My Lowe's store in Tempe showed it was in the clearance area but actually was up front with all the Dewalt items. It was showing the regular price but rang up for the sale price

You might need to check inventory at several locations to find this set. (My closest store has 2 in stock, and another store across town has 11 in stock.) This is a super slick deal for those who can find it nearby. Hope this deal helps someone. Smilie

So this is basically just a repost of the previous deal that was expired for some reason. It's not like clearance items go in and out of clearance. I don't see any stores around me that have these at this price now.

And since when did YMMV deals start being posted on the front page? Lean times, I guess.

Lowes deals in general are always ymmv. Store pricing varies between stores. I don't disagree with your sentiment though... it's like walmart or target clearance posts. Stores in my area rarely have items left. I just don't bother with the posts and move on.

I've used mine a ton of times. Whenever there is some sneaky screw in a nook or dark corner I cant get to, this baby flies right in no problem. It's just for accessing hard to get screws and such.
