Somethings going to kill you, why not make it a surprise rather than this?

"Contains propylene oxide"

Propylene oxide is an acutely toxic and carcinogenic organic compound with the molecular formula C3H6O. This colourless volatile liquid with an odour ...
I'm not here to support or bash PPO in products, but do you see objective evidence of confirmed toxicity and cancer-causing effects in humans? Everything I see (eg, EPA) flags it as probable in humans due to similarities with other compounds and animal testing, but actual human data is inadequate.

Saying "is" vs "is likely" is what can cause a snowball effect leading to misinformation. (Not at all presuming that was your intent.)

I just use a little bit of vinegar, helps prevent the hard water spots

Yikes. 1st time I've seen a prop 65 warning on rinse aid. Don't believe the finish brand has one.

Needless to say have slowly transitioned away from Rinseaid in our LG and it works great without it as long as I use heat dry

You just pour the vinegar where the rinse aid goes?

No citric acid or buffering ingredients listed. Indeed, you might be better off using vinegar if you have calcium in your water.

Worth a try for $3. The Finish brand has always been my go to. For people suggesting vinegar, it just doesn't work as well and we're talking like a penny per load difference here. A lot of it depends on your water though. Our city water has a significant amount of calcium in it. If you're worried about something that literally rinses off your dishes and PREVENTS residue giving you cancer, not sure what to say. I don't think you understand how science works lol. You're not drinking the stuff, it does it's job and washes away.

Wait, are you saying a product called "rinse aid" aids in rinsing? Next thing you're going to tell me is you're using water for your rinsing.

It's a known fact that water is toxic in large doses, and anyone who has ever consumed it eventually dies.
