"Frequently return item". Counterfeit Samsung microSDs are mixed with genuine microSDs

They shipped me the counterfeit one. The printing was smeared and it died prematurely

No go. This is a full sized card, which makes it incompatible with most modern tech. But, thanks for the deal op

Better to buy direct but YMMV as delivery seems to be unavailable for several zipcodes I tried

128GB Samsung Pro Ultimate was $10.75 about a week ago, so a better deal could potentially be had. Nonetheless good price still

is this fast enough for 30fps 4k video or burst mode on a Sony Mirrorless camera?

Absolutely. Even a slower spec card (U1 etc) would be able to with any of Sony's Mirrorless models. (aka Sony E-Mount, both APS-C & Full Frame, so long as the model supports the Resolution/FPS you specified)

That has far more to do with Sony's incredible streak of phenomenal accomplishments & developments, including their unmatched sensor & hardware/software capabilities, specifically the buffer (which is one of the multiple breakthroughs they achieved via their BIONZ tech that saw them go from outside the top 5 in the market to #1 by a continuously widening margin.

4k: Yes.
Burst still photos: Depends. The camera fills its buffer then pauses or slows down while the buffer is dumped to the card. Faster card = shorter pause or less slowing down.

For example, here's a discussion of the impact on an A9 III: https://shuttermuse.com/best-memo...-behaviour

I was surprised to see in that discussion that the buffer stops while unloading; I am used to a more modern buffer design that slows down but lets you continue shooting at a lower FPS. I don't have a Sony so I do not know if there is a way around that but in any case a faster card means less waiting.

Sony cameras that shoot 4k require a U3 card.
