1,000 points are worth about $8. (a $200 per night hotel is about 25,000 points)

As a lifetime gold at Marriott, I can tell you the bonus qualifying night to reach gold staus is almost worthless. Platiunum is requried (50 nights per year) to get lounge access or breakfast.

Hilton and Hyatt are running double points right now.

I'm lifetime Titanium and this promo was not in my account. I called Marriott and they manually added. I keep thinking I should switch to Hilton to work on their lifetime but I already get gold with AMEX and I'm just so used to Marriott way of business.

Bonus elite nights are just nights that count toward tier status ( silver/gold/plat/tita/adm ) I'm a lifetime platinum so not really sure this even helps me on the tier nights since I only stay about 15 nights a year anymore max. The bonus points are nice though not sure if they stack with the elite bonus status etc though.

this was also unavailable in my account no matter what i tried, but i followed someone else's suggestion to switch from earning miles to points, and then the link from the help page worked immediately. so, worth a shot! not sure what happens if i switch it back to miles now though :X

I was not originally able to see this deal because my earning preference was set to miles instead of points. Changed it and I was able to see the promotion.
