Someone needs to jog my memory since I haven't seen it in a while...but based on the gameplay video, doesn't this sort of go against the spirit of the monster in the movie?

I thought the scariest part was that it could take the shape of anyone. Here, it looks like they make it some sort of unrelenting, nearly unkillable beast like the Nemesis monster from Resident Evil

That's only after it transforms. Several times it's someone in your group. Although it's never random, so once you know, you know.

Definitely isn't worth $24. I played it for the first time a couple years ago. It was interesting at the beginning. Sort of got dull 1/2 through. Decided to stop playing and watched the rest On YouTube.

Are there actual players who successfully figured out that elevator escape the 1st time?
