Have this. Disconnects when it overheats. Only reliable in a slower USB port like USB 2.0 where you're essentially applying a bottleneck to keep it from overheating. Wouldn't recommend.

Have this. Disconnects when it overheats. Only reliable in a slower USB port like USB 2.0 where you're essentially applying a bottleneck to keep it from overheating. Wouldn't recommend.

B4 I come to read comments here, I skim the reviews on Amazon and I do see quite a few complain about its reliability. If it just fail that is already bad enough, but some also report corrupt data during write and that is a NO-GO for me even if this thing is 0 dollar.

I have few sabrent cards like this without the usb 3.0 (that this one has). Never had a problem. They make good stuff. Also have one of their nvm drives and two external cases. Like the previous one I have, this also works with 2 cards at once. Never used that feature on the ones I have. Mostly use these to transfer vids and photos from 3d camera and regular cam to pc.

I have one I use with my ipad for photo viewing, etc. Im not a heavy user of huge files, but as a card reader of general use it works great.

Same. I have a few of their SATA to USB 3.0 adapters that work with no issues as well as two NVMe enclosures. I wouldn't count them out when considering the brand but this product was a let down and just sits in a drawer now.
