This looks like a nice build. I jumped in their promo on 4 of 12.8v 280Ah batteries before which will have the same output as this. With the batteries and other materials: cart, board, cables, circuit breakers, fuse, crimper tools, and etc, it was close to $2000 after tax. So with a few hundreds more, you save the headaches of add the 4 batteries in serial.

Each of the 4 batteries is about 60lb. So the whole setup after completion (inverter included)will be about 260-280 lb, mounting on a Costco Trinity cart with wheels for mobility.

will prowse has just reviewed the server rack version - mostly good.

800 on amazon - so with cash back that's coming in under $150/Kwh

I purchased 4 batteries as well months ago - kinda wish I would've waited for something like this instead.

Which Trinity cart did you get from Costco? I have my batteries sitting on the floor and would like to get them off but nervous about getting something due to how much they weigh.

https://www.costco.com/trinity-ec...69945.html

The cart is rated 800lb so
one single tier of the shelf is enough to withhold all 4 batteries, sitting at bottom shelf.

And I also bought the cement board (Home Depot, James Hardie board, $15) to place all the circuit breakers, outlets, balancer, inverter, and fuse on it. The board will sit on top shelf of cart.

Middle shelf will be reserved in case I want to add more batteries in the future.

This creates a mobile charging station for me to charge my EV as primary use and as a backup power station if needed during power outage.

His review didn't make a lot of sense and I commented on it.
He keep harping how only 3 of the 4 hit 100ah and the 4th one missed it by .05%.
And keeps on saying "if you don't mind losing 5%" then its a good battery.
I mean ECO W promised a 100ah, they didn't promise 105ah last I looked.
If all of the other 100ah rack battery are getting 105ah, then praise them, not penalize Eco W.
Anyway, just wait till Ebay has another 20%, you can get it below $800.
Eh, I'm sliiightly inclined to agree with him based on what you said. Grade a cells will pretty much as a rule exceed the rated capacity. The fact it didn't exceed it may be an indicator of what kind of cells they use? Or maybe it's just a one off coincidence? In any case we have a sample size of 4 from him and 25% isn't great odds?

Great price though for what you get. A good $700 less than eg4.

Noob questions, I have 7kWh solar setup and I'm wondering if this battery is going to be perfect for my setup. And, is it scalable if I ever need to add more and how since it's not rack mounted.

This seems pretty decent, but at this price and weight I'd lean towords the server rack battery. It's a little cheaper and can moved fairly easily. Using some 280ah batteries from their ebay sale with both an hqst charge controler for a 12v system and with an eg4 3000w 48v charger inverter. So far have been happy with the batteries at this price point. Have even run a 6.5 ton log splitter for a few hrs. In my case it would be nice to have a heated battery, but I've just been using some plant germination pads that use about 20w.

His test was wrong.
This review shows 107Ah:

Not disputing if it's grade A cells or not.
I honestly think it's a balancing issue.
This guy didn't get the full capacity because of one of the cell was low.
He ended up with exactly 100ah after the cells got balanced.

This guy got 107ah on his.

Not much reviews on YT but I'm sure they will pour in with how cheap these are.
I've bought tons of Eco stuff and their service is pretty decent.
I have a 24v 100ah that swelled on me(probably my fault as I drained in too much and didn't recharge it right away) and they sent me a another one.

Any cheat sheet on how to get 3 running right and integrated? Any federal tax incentives still for getting something like this added? I know a lot of local incentives have caveats like they have to be professionally installed or sold directly from a power company.

LOL, Will replied to me.
"Because they should all pull the same exact figures, and it should be 103-110Ah. That is the issue"
I really didn't know that there is an unwritten rule that a 100ah rack battery should return 103-110ah capacity.
Again, I'm not disputing if the cells are grade A or B or how long it will last.
The main issue is capacity and he's nitpicking the shit out of it for no reason.

I did the 280ah 12v batteries as well. Price per kw is much better that way, but this is a nice compact rolling option...though about $1k more in price.

Is this better than the eBay deal from last week? This still needs an inverter to power a home, right?
You can also use this to backup a power station if it's charged by solar

With this being DC, would it be compatible with a SolarEdge inverter?

That means a defective battery or several batteries out the gate. Meaning you won't get the estimated 20% degradation after 6k or how ever many cycles they guaranteed. It will happen much sooner. Or fail completely much sooner.
