"Hydrogen fuel in California costs $14 per pound, equating to about $175 per fill-up.
Infrastructure remains limited, with only about 50 refueling stations statewide, concentrated in Southern California"
"402 miles per fill-up."

Sounds like that credit won't go as far as you'd think assuming you can find places to even fill up

2.28 mile per dollar is pretty embarrassing.

I remember my neighbour was scrambling to find alternatives when all Hydrogen stations within his driving distance were out some times ago. that outage lasted multiple months

It's a shame hydrogen never took off. I was pretty excited when they first came out with these.

The verge did a video on their experiences with mirai in the Southern California region (which is the best case scenario for finding fueling stations) and it's extremely rough. Unless you live close to multiple stations (since many break down often without any attendants) and only use it for short trips, this will be a liability.

Only if you can find a H2 station still online.

Im requesting everyone interested to look up the fuel stations along their route before going for this.

Even in Socal there are areas where there is only 1 station for a 100 miles . Got forbid you want to go to a national park.
