Some soundcore stuff is great bang for buck. Not sure about this lil thing, but only so much clarity you can squeeze out of this size speaker. Looks like the original msrp was 25 btw, so this is 5 bucks off.

I've got a similar setup from JBL (GO speaker) and it's really great if you've got the right expectations. Sound quality is great for the size but it obvious won't compare to what you'll get out of earbuds or larger speakers. Perfect for throwing in a bag for travel, listening in the shower, or even an external speaker for your laptop or iPad.

for those, like me, who like to check "costco next" for better/equivalent anker deals: they have nothing along these lines. Only speakers they have right now:

Bought one of these previously, I would like it to be a bit louder ideally but it's well made and as kids use it, not going too loud is actually an advantage Smilie

Every Anker Soundcore product I've purchased has been great. I'd hop on this if I didn't already have a JBL GO3 that I got for Christmas 3 years ago. Still going strong.

I got a few different models of these smaller BT Speakers to compare/test them out and the Soundcore was my favorite between the JBL Clip5, Bose Soundlink Mini, Tribit, Xiaomi Sound Pocket Bluetooth Speaker, and an AliExpress option called Wise Tiger.

Those cost in the $20-$50 range on the best sales I have seen to date, with the SoundCore being $20. There were some small differences in sound (Bose maybe a bit more base, JBL maybe a bit more full) but not enough of a difference to justify the price, and am very happy with the Soundcore. They were also my favorite form factor, colors, and size. They were ALL cool devices, though. Any are satisfactory.

Tough to beat -- pun intended.

NONE of these models is as loud as you probably want, and deep bass isn't possible. So you have to consider that. There's no way to fix that with any of these micro models. Period.

Wear them as headphones if you need them to be loud. That said, the wimpy ears that surround me think they are too loud.
