There are very few LiFePO4 jump starters in the market and most are pretty expensive with low peak amp.

I bought one from Amazon, some horny brand. It was listed in the past as $99, eBay now selling $70+, currently Amazon selling for $50

Note the output peak amp is only 600A not the listed 1000A. I tested the CCA using car battery tester under regular lead acid setting, it is about 165A. So if your car battery is completely dead and need 400A or more in cold weather, this will probably not jump start. It provides a constant 12v voltage of 13.6v when fully charged like a separate car battery, different from the standard lithium jump stater at 16+ volt.

Take care when charging through the XT90 port, you need a solar charge controller I believe. I recommend charging through the usb c max 100W. I was able to charge it full using 100w usb c charger and got max voltage of 13.7v, typical of lifepo4 12v battery, it will settle and drop down to 13.4v after some time. I have not monitored it to see if it will hold at 13.2v for prolong period.

There is a lot of error on your post.
It list 192 watts (power) not 192wh (capacity).
Also this thing is too small to contain 60,000 mah capacity like they claim.
It's a good price for Lifepo4 jump starter through

I was skeptical too at first but the Anker solix c200 at $99 is about the same size and weight. Also same 60,000mah (192wh). This one does not have a charge controller internally, so it should be smaller.

Maybe you're right but the picture look pretty small and portable. I'll probably get one and test as i love portable power supply. Starter is a bonus

Weighs about 3 pounds. This is much larger than a standard power bank, uses 4 15Ah LFP cells.

HOUNY used to sell a variant of this with two USB-C/A groups, for up to 200W in or out. ZOUPW still sells this variant. Seems like the XT90 replaced one group.

Different parts of the product listing claim 600, 1000, 2000A peak output. I have a hard time imagining a 15Ah cell providing even 600A through an XT90 port for more than a split second.

I doubt they're doing any kind of voltage regulation on the XT90, which could make this an interesting choice for a small 12V battery for power toys, Starlink, ham radio etc

Edit: I see OP listed 165A peak, that sounds about right. So don't buy this to jump a car.

165A is CCA based on my own test with a car battery tester under lead acid battery setting after charging the unit full.

The product came with a manual stating 600A peak for output and 300A peak for input using the XT90 connection.

Sounds like there are whole bunch of different ways to test CCA, most involve chilling the battery and then testing it under load for 30-60s and failing it if it drops below a certain voltage

I'm surprised it even passed at 165A. Peak could actually be 600+A for a half second when shorted, but no way it would hold that for tens of seconds especially when cold.

If it is 3s, it should be good to jump a small engine. I got it mainly for the 15ah Lifepo4 battery so I can store in the car without worrying about battery swelling and it is small enough. Bought a second one, run a CCA test immediately after full charge and showing 200A CCA.

Hopefully do not need to use it to jump my car but it can act as a battery booster if car battery is not completely dead.
