Some genius needs to make a simple plug and play to panels that works with backfeeding/selling back power to the company. So far most of them are overly complicated or way over priced(Tesla wall). I could do all the installation but the inverter, feedback, and battery are all stupidly complicated, ie. I can understand it but I want something my wife or parents could control without having to teach a industrial electronics course to them.

Not exactly plug and play, and not sure that would even be possible, but it seems that the Anker F3800 with Smart Panel is maybe the closest? Still requires permits, and possibly licensed electrician to install, but maybe someone who owns it can talk about how easy it is to program and use once installed. https://signaturesolar.com/anker-...40xOynqxHV

Edit: this probably wouldn't accomplish what you want, anyway, as this only allows you to discharge to your panel at off-peak times, not actually sell back to utility. My state has a program like that, but it has to be grid-tied, from a select list, etc. and you don't get to choose how often they take/buy your electricity.

Nice find. Still too expensive

You can DIY 10,000wh for Under $3000, but who really wants to put that much effort into it?

A day or so. Depends of how many watts you use. Mine last that long.

Not even close. Look at your electric bill. Divide up the kWh by the days between billing and you'll have an average daily usage.

Many buy these for permanent setup. Why not just get a real permanent setup for 1/2 the cost?

Good inverter would be the 18Kpv or SolArk 15k. Both are painless and pretty idiot proof.

How? A gas Generac I was pricing out for my 3K sqft house cost 16K.installed AIO (hardware, plumbing, electrical, permits)

These are basically plug & play with a plug installed to the panel & is cheaper for me to put in than the Generac & is more like 50% off with the 2 batteries.

same price as it was two months ago, near the end of november, from same vendor. considering this delta pro ultra is a year old it's...meh. not a bad price, but not exactly great either. no price drop in last two months, on a unit that is a year old.

Grid tie almost always needs a permit
