Best overall IPS gaming monitor. Technically there's a few that may have slightly better contrast now but they're like over $300. So for $199 this is definitely a steal.

A particular cash back extension is reportedly offering an addition 25% cashback at LG's website. One way to save some Capital.

Bought one for $500 when they came out (5 and a half years ago damn). Have used it basically every day since then and it still holds up, looks great. At $200 it's a no brainer.

This would probably be overkill for just a simple desktop monitor, correct?
