I bought the exact same item from Newegg a few days ago. First, I noticed that the shipping was extremely slow. It was shipped from LA, so I assume the fire was the reason. It took more than 10 days for me to receive it on the East Coast.
I mainly play Valorant and Marvel Rivals. My setup includes an i5-12600KF, Intel Arc A750, ASRock Sonic B760M, and 32GB DDR5 6000. After switching to the B580, I saw no improvement in Valorant—in fact, the 1% low framerate got even worse, making the B580 feel more unstable than the A750. I know Valorant is more CPU-dependent, but I was expecting at least some improvement.
For Marvel Rivals, the average FPS increased from ~140 to ~180. XeSS 2 is still unavailable in this game for now.
I also do some VR gaming, and the performance has improved significantly compared to the A750, which was nearly unusable.
Overall, there's still room for improvement in the drivers, but that's to be expected when buying an Intel GPU. It took them over a year to optimize the A750's drivers. One thing worth mentioning—the B580 is much much lighter than my A750.

Update: In some maps of Marvel Rivals, the color is extremely off, making it's impossible to play. This suggests another issue with the driver.
since these intel gpus are always cheaper, is there one of them with 16gb or 32gb vram that would be able to run that deepseek ai locally?
This is only Intel's second generation of standalone GPUs, so there's no much history there at all.

EDIT: Not sure if you're being sarcastic.

Still rocking my RX 580 but looking for something better until my next complete build in 2-3 years. Is it worth it? I'm also considering upgrade my CPU from Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 5700 x3d.
Yes. Over twice as twice as fast as the rx580. Make sure rebar is on if using an Intel GPU.

CPU probably not worth because of the following: depends on your monitor; if you're running 1440p or higher probably not worth it. (The exception would be if you want to run older games at very high frame rates.) If 1080p or lower your first priority should be upgrading your monitor in which case you're back to the first scenario.

seems like a decent value if you're on a budget, but my 6 year old RTX 2080 still beats it a bit it looks like.

4060 or this?
This card is faster and way cheaper.

The only reason to go 4060 for newer titles would be if you're planning to use DLSS on all your main titles and think you can get away with dropping the setting one notch lower than you would with XeSS to make up the performance difference.

If you play older titles you should look up compatibility before buying. It's better now, but Intel cards still have some compatibility issues with very old games.

Yes, it should. It supports hardware ray tracing.

Not sure why anyone would pay good money for an Intel GPU when you have choices.
This card needs to be another $50 cheaper, else most people are better off with a 4060.
Nvidia cards are just better supported even if it is a tad slower. SteamOS, Gaming profiles, Graphics and video software.
Also better resale value.
Lol you lost all credibility advising people to get a 4060. one of the biggest letdown cards ever made for the price and is often worse than a rtx 3060. add insult to injury the 4060 is on a 128 bit bus. it is pretty widely known for the price to avoid the rtx 4060.

This card beats the 2080 by 6%, but if you're looking to upgrade a 2080 you want 4070 or higher.

Are you sure that was the Onix brand? For that matter, are you sure it was a B580 and not an A580? That price seems a bit low for an Open Box deal.
Sorry no i am not sure and I no longer see them when I look

I don't really know alot about all of this however the card I was thinking of buying is a RTX 3070Ti which I have found factory reconditioned for just under $350. I haven't done it yet how is this GPU compared to that for game play. I mostly play war thunder and old battlefield games nothing new and ultra demanding. thanks

Right now the scalpers are focusing on Nvidia cards with CUDA for AI. Even used cards like 1080 or 3060 12GB are crazy expensive on eBay. The supply for non Nvidia graphics cards is now too plentiful to make a profit. (And crypto mining completely died due to specialized ASIC)
