To be honest, I have an other pack of these from a few years back. I thought that's what I was buying. They look the same. They are about 33% thinner than the older ones that I bought. They are fine for me living in SoCal. Would not recommend for cold climate. That being said, I have hyperhdrosis and my socks are usually sopping wet after about 15min. These socks have done a great job with keeping my feet dry.

Does living in a dry climate help, with hyperhydrosis? I sweat more than the average person and think I might be affected.

My comment on the cold climate was more about these being thinner than the ones I purchased a few years previously.

Ask your doctor for a referral about it. My insurance and doctor acted like I was nuts. I went to the specialist, and they did a corn starch test on my hands and feet. Takes like 10min tops. That doctor told my insurance that she had not seen someone who was as affected by hyperhydrosis like I was in the last 10 years. I had the surgery to fix it. DON'T DO THE SURGERY! Just don't. Look for mirrorwave or some cream they sell on Amazon. The cream works, but feels weird AF.

One thing that will help is stop wearing cotton socks. Switch to nylon or polyester blend with wool or some other synthetic. Cotton is a $#!tty fiber and holds moisture. It does not wick it away like they claim. I'm not sure if you have an REI near you. But they can tell you all about it, if you ask.

Same post as the other day. I got the wrong product when I bought the black ankle.

I got upc 038257761191.

I ordered 10 pairs of the ankle version, all the same.

They are 96% polyester, 3% spandex, 1% nylon. I'm going to have to take them all back. I was really hoping for the cotton blend. These are super thin and feel like walking on slick plastic. Oh well.

Some of the reviews say that the description is incorrect and the actual specs are 96% Polyester, 3% Spandex, 1% Nylon. Probably someone who has it can confirm this from the packaging.
