I think the Essential doesnt have connect+ or the bass boost mode, I wouldn't pay much extra for those but they're nice

Anyone have this? I know they make good speakers a friend has one that's about twice this size and 10-15 yrs old and works great . How is the sound on this model? Looking to use this in a classic car so I don't have to buy /install a new sound system in the car.

It's a good speaker and has a nice clear sound, I have the older version with the micro charger. I should've waited for the USB-C, this is only $20 more than what I paid.

These little JBL speakers pack a punch with nice clarity. I would say it's weakness is from more dar distances. But it isn't meant for that. Inside a room or within a decent perimeter it sounds great and portable

Great speakers, they do not have USB-C port for charging, they use older micro USB port for charging. They ware $60 last fall for months when I got two as a gift to give away.

I wonder if i need waterproof for just shower speakers.. Thinking of just getting a cheap pair to sit there while i shower. I understand the humidity would get into the speakers, but i wonder if it'd start a fire or harm it or not.. hmm
