There are not great prices for DRAM-less drives, IMHO.

A off brand but fast SP 2TB drive is $95 of NewEgg.

TBH, DRAM less drives have gotten seriously good in the recent past as they use the HMB feature in NVMe. Also cheaper than options with DRAM on them. So its a good thing IMO.

Tomshardware has a good review [tomshardware.com]of this drive. Its apparently great for people who want to put this in a laptop or a handheld gaming device.

I notice that this drive is close to saturating the PCIe Gen4 x4 speeds at 7300 MB/s. Most people don't always need the highest performance. So good option.
